What resolution do I need?
Canvas is much more forgiving than glossy media. We can create quality prints from most low resolution files.
The following table is a very rough guide as to what we recommend. Each file will be different and depend on the quality of the camera and what the subject matter is.  Some lower resolution files may be able to go to the larger size canvases. Once we have the file, we will always contact you if we have any doubts about the clarity of the final results.

How long will my prints last?
We use the finest quality archival inks available and at least two coats of UV blocking liquid laminate on all our canvases. Under normal household lighting conditions, the canvases will last at least 75 years without noticeable fading.

Are my colours reproduced accurately?
Your canvas may look slightly different to what you see on your screen. All screens will display colour slightly differently. Our screens are colour corrected to suit our printers and as such we are accurately able to see how images will look once printed. If we see any problem we will contact you first.

What if my photo doesn’t fit the size and shape that I want?
Normally if needed, we would crop your image to suit your required canvas size. If we do this we will always send you an email with a small example of how your image has been cropped and we don’t print anything until we know you’re happy with the result.

However, we can make virtually any size canvas to suit your needs. Our pricing guide is exactly that, a guide. If you require a different size, please send us an email at info@citrusgraphics.com.au and we’ll get back to you with a price for you required size. We won’t print anything until we know you will be happy with the result.

What is a Gallery wrap?
Gallery wrap is where the photo continues around the edge of the stretcher frame.  When the subject matter of the image is near the edge, we can clone and flip the outside edge so as none of the image is lost in the “wrap”. This gives the image the effect of continuing around the frame creating the illusion of depth.  We can also add a solid colour to the “wrap”or leave it as white canvas.

Is there anything I need to know about caring for my canvas?
Treat your canvas prints as you would any other artwork. Don’t hang them in direct sunlight. Use a duster to remove dust. For fingerprints and other small marks left by insects use a soft cloth, lightly moistened if needed and gently rub the marked area. DO NOT USE ANYTHING ABRASIVE. The inks and laminate we use give some water resistance, however we cannot offer any warranties for damage resulting from abrasive cleaning.
